Note from the webmistress:
You may be curious to know why I should be particularly interested
in the Operatic Society. My father was a member for many years and
played leading tenor roles. Matlock Operatic Society's productions
were part of our family's life. They've been enjoyed by several generations
of Matlock and District's inhabitants.
