  5. Travelling to the Venetian Fête or Venetian Nights
    Below are some railway posters - one is shown and there are links to the others - and we believe that few of these privately owned items still survive, so are curiosities for both Railway enthusiasts and those wanting to know a little more about the Fête and Illuminations. We've tried hard to locate the copyright holders, including contacting the HMSO, Department of Transport and the York Railway Museum, regarding the railway material but extensive enquiries have proved unsuccessful as no-one claims copyright ownership. Please contact the webmistress if you know who it the copyright owner as we do not wish to infringe copyright law.
